"For Italy, my favorite is the statue of David. I loved also hanging
out if the coastal town of Rapallo. There's a fountain in Rome where
if you visit and do something, there's some story about how it will
affect your love life...
Rome in general, obviously - especially the Colosseum, the Sistine
Chapel, and anything Michelangelo.
Live guitar music and singing. Strangers' faces. Museums and traveling exhibits.
You might see if there's anything historical for the Faith.
Cappuccino - the best I ever had in my life was there, and they always
all slapped it down on the counter like it was the most banal thing
that's ever happened - yet nothing could be more divine!
I went there January 2002 as part of a course that explored how during
the Renaissance, many poets and artists who were disappointed with
politics and culture in Britain left for Italy to explore how ancient
Rome and love for nature could guide humanity back in the right
direction."
