All Ashore

Despite the late night, our Em alarm still went off at exactly 6:30am… so we had a good breakfast and got everything off the boat by 9:00. The place we parked the car said to call them when we are ready for pick up but with no phone and no payphones we had emailed the day before in the hope that would be good enough. We got a response this morning and all was well. There was another couple who parked at the same place and they had arranged pick up anyway. We loaded the car back up and took off into the Italian traffic once more.

A leisurely couple of hours through the small towns and countryside brought us back to Verona. As we didn’t get a chance to look around last time, we decided to come back through and are staying at the same place as last time. It was a bit easier to find this time with the GPS working and arriving in the daylight! The rest of the day was just getting organised for the next few days, arranging accommodation and working out where we were actually going.
