WEEKEND IN VENICE

At the end of February begining of March I went to Venice for a long weekend. Lovely hotel with little bridge to door (see picture), good breakfast, dry all weekend but got foggier and foggier throughout the weekend so when we went on the Ghost Tour one evening is was very 'Sherlock Holmes'! Got lost many times, only to eventually come out at St Marks Square again! Food was good but eatting or drinking on the Grand Canal was very expensive - £10 for two cans of drink!

Had to have a go on a gondola as don't know when I'll have an opportunity again - got some good pics. Great time and would recommend it for a short break away.
