Trip to Assisi - Day 10

We took a train at around 10 to go to Assisi. It only took about 15 minutes to get there, and after that it was all walking. The first thing we did was go to San Damiano, which is the church that St. Francis built. After that, we had to walk all the way back up the mountain in order to get to the main city. Then we went to St. Clare's church and saw her body. After that, we went to grab lunch at a local pizzeria. They had my favorite kind of pizza! I was so happy. It's called carbonara pizza, and it has an egg right in the middle. It sounds weird, but it's delicious. After that, we went to the Basilica of St. Francis. It was beautiful. I'll definitely upload pictures 😊
