i have so many photos i cant pick the best ones but these should give you some indication of Perguia
Dear Family and Friends

Well we have finally found a pace that suits us, away from the hussel and bussel of Bangkok (not to mention the stress) we arrived in Italy and we decided that we required a break form the big smoke so we bussed it to Perguria, without a dbout the most beautiful place we have ever seen - as usually ill let the photos do the talking however i advise that they do not do the town justice (you will have to visit for your self). After a night in Perguia we went to Assissi where mum had organised a weeks accommodation for us in the mountians. Surprise surprise it did not go according to plan we got in to the apartment and the following was BROKEN,
- the safe
- the gas
- the fold out sofa bed collapased
- and finally the beam in the roof fell out
So as you could imagine after all the problems that we had in Bangkok we were not ammused - and after a broken discussion in broken italian and english we finally changed apartments. Well thats about all for now thanks everyone for the messages they were really

Finally online!!
Hi guys! Oh my gosh we miss you so much already. It's so strange without you guys here, the travel blog is awesome though! Seriously what did people do before the internet. I especially loved the sultry photo of Glen on your round bed (I'm sure there's some sort of punn there - something to do with knights of the round table). I can't believe that the beautiful photos you're taking are all things that you're seeing with your own eyes... it makes me just want to pack up and come over with you : ) Have fun guys and travel safe, I'll be in touch again soon. Oh and by the way dan and I are finally online, our myspace page is www.myspace.com/dan_and_claire Chao!

Hey guys, finally got back from my own trip and got to read your blog. Loving the adventures - yeah, Bangkok sux arse alright... Stinky, smelly, dirty, noisy, everyone rips you off etc etc... Some not bad street food tho, and fruit is awesome. Did the Thailand, Laos, Cambodia thing - was awesome!! Highlights... hmmm let me see... - Nothing much in Thailand - Laos - everything!! Highly recommended!! 2 day cruise down Mekong river, Beer Lao, crashing some rich French people's soiree at the posh guesthouse next to our crappy one, more Beer Lao, giving rice balls to monks at dawn, more Beer Lao, Lao coffee with condensed milk, and did I mention Beer Lao?? - Cambodia - crazy, poor, dirty, loved it!! Ate a fried tarantula - true story!! Tasted like soy marinated chicken wing, not too bad for a snack. Temples - saw Ta Prohm where Tomb Raider was filmed, sunset from Angkor Wat, amazing!! Killing Fields, landmind museum and Khmer Rouge prison really confronting and scary... Angkor Beer not bad, but Beer Lao better... Great food if you like chilli and seafood. Any
