Bonjour! We've arrived in Italy. After our stop in Austria we headed to Venice italy. Made a quick stop in Verona and saw the porch of Juliet. Wish we could have stayed there longer, it was absolutly amazing. we were waiting for Romeo to show up the whole time. It was a great city to start our Italy part of the trip. So far we're in love with this incredibly romantic place. we had a great pasta dinner in out hotel after our LONG bus ride. Then afterwards played cards in the bar and drank vini with some of our friends. Great fun but went to bed early knowing we had a full day in Venice the next morning. We took a water taxi into Venice and fell in love imediatly. It was the most amazing place. We went to a glass blowing show, got lost, went to the bridge of sighs and had pizza in a little resturante. Hung out in St. Mark's square. It was gorgeous. Fed the pigeons! Did some shopping in the crowded markets then went on a gondaloa ride through the city. Had dinner in a little cafe and had a bottle of vini. It was delicious! After that Lou and the rest of our tour went back to the hotel where myself and some friends stayed to listen to David Gilmore from Pink Floyd. He was playing a concerty in St. Mark's square. We could really see but could hear the whole thing. I had to stay. It was the most amazing thing ever. Today we've made out way to Florence. We wnet to a leather factory and learned a little about it. Bought some jewelry and had the most delicious sandwich from a street vendor. Oh and since Italy we're on Gelato number 3. So good. Miss you all gonna try to post some pics. Have to change computors. xoxo
