italy!!

ok, here i am in italy. i'm surprised i have this little bit of time but i do. ok. now to update you on what's been going on over here. after sightseeing in nice yesterday, we went back to the campsite and had dinner (roast - can you believe it!!) then... a rather big night in the bar at our campsite. it was all very fun and light hearted. everyone was in such a good mood. i gave myself a curfew of 12 (and i only stayed out til 12.30 so that was pretty good). everything was still going very strong and there were a lot of weary people on the bus. (most people left at 4.30 so i was very good in comparison). it was so much fun though!! today was a big travelling day - from nice to florence, where i am now. we stopped of at pisa on the way - saw the leaning tower, and did the whole dorky trying to push it up thing. we didn't get to our campsite til 6pm and we had to leave by 6.30, so it was a very quick change. dinner tonight was an optional extra (you could pay to go to a restaurant - about 30euros). my friend arielle and i decided against that, so we found our own little traditional italian place and had the yummiest pasta for 7euros!! yay us. now, we finished a bit early, and we're meeting everyone at the pub at 9.30, so we have a bit of time to fill in. got florence sightseeing tomorrow then off to rome in the afternoon. who's anon e mouse?? i was not asked for directions - i was asked to meet for drinks or a coffee each time thank you very much!! better go - only have 46 seconds of time left. love you all xxoo
