So apparantly the ominous Iceland volcano cloud has formed over Italy for the last week which explains all of the rain that is spoiling tourist's vacations. Siena Centro

This is the main center of Siena. Apparantly, there is a horse race twice a year here between all of the different neighborhoods in Siena, and it gets pretty competitive.

You would think that the town of Montepulciano would be close to the train station, but it definitely isn't.

These are my friends from the hostel in Assisi. We were playing a Swiss drinking game with wine, and it was loads of fun.

Casa di Campagna is Italian for the Country house and that is where I am staying outside of Fabriano. Fantastic view out on the porch

Alice

Alice(pronounced A-Lee-Cheh in Italian) is so adorable and has a great personality. We play lots of silent games since we don't understand each other's language.

I sit out here for hours just listening to the birds and enjoying the peace.

Very very cool. I'm so impressed that you're still going strong. It must have been so great to run into family friends!!! I bet they gave you some much needed comfort and energy to keep going and keep up your travels. Wonderful. We miss you and it all looks gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!!
