Nice, France to
Florence, Italy. Today we bid adieu (had to spell check that) to France and head to Italy, specifically, Florence. Right outside of Nice we stop for a photo op and then at
Fragonard Perfumery. They had a display case in the entrance of different perfumes from around the world with a section dedicated to Rochester, NY- awww, home. We did a quick factory tour where we saw a guy making soaps in the shape of ducks and then ushered into the store. I wasn't planning on buying anything, but walked away with some solid perfume's and face cream (which I'm lovin'.)
We then drove for a few hours, stopped for lunch, and continued on thru Italy with a stop in
Pisa to see the infamous tower. Unfortunately, we only had about 45 minutes there so it was enough time for some photo ops but that's about it. Another place I can say I've been, but haven't really experienced.
And, since I'm so behind in writing my blogs, though only other thing I can remember from this day is that the hotel we had in Florence,
Hotel Franchi, was less than desirable. I
went to close our door, and the handle came off in my hand; there were exposed wires where I plugged in my laptop; and our bathroom light was haunted and would flash like a horror flick. Could have been worse, another girl tossed her suitcase on her bed and it collapsed.

you bought me a Ferrari in Italy?
They never should've put that cellular antenna array on top of the tower. It hasn't been the same since.
