First days in firenze!

We finally moved in to our apartment yesterday!!! It's really cool but they said I can get electrocuted by my bed because the frame is metal and there's electrical chords around it, so I think I'm just going to sleep on the couches. It doesn't have a/c so that sucks but other than it's pretty cool. You can see the kitchen from the living room which is kind of weird. I also think that I have bed bugs which they warned us about but I didn't think would happen...I've got to go check it out later. We've just been having orientation the past few days, they've finally let us on our own for a little bit. I went to dinner with a bunch of girls from the program. we got the internet tonight so we decided not to go out because we haven't had the internet for more than 2 hours in a week, a long time I know. Most of the people on the trip are really cool, we all went out in Rome a few days ago and just hung out with everyone last night, planning on going out tomorrow with everyone. We went to see the Duomo today, it is much bigger than I expected. Trying to stay safe and not get stuff stolen, we were warned about 5000 times. We stopped in Siena on the way to Florence, it was just really hot outside and all of us were so tired I couldn't really pay attention to the tour. More orientation tomorrow and then classes start on monday 😞
