After quite some excitement, Debra and I have made it to Florence. We had a nice last day in Rome. We went to the Borgese Museum. It had some amazing sculptures by Bernini. Some real famous ones. After that, we walked in the park a bit and made it to the train station for our train to La Spezia.. on our way to Cinque tera..so we though. When we finally got to Cinque Tera we found there was not a single place to stay in all the 5 towns. The area was completely booked (which was contrary to what our book told us it would be like). So we had to go back to La Spezia..not that great of a city. But what happened, all the hotels were full there too. After finding some other travelers in our position (a couple from Holland and a Couple from Guatemala) we eventually found a hostel in Livorno, a place near Pisa. Long story short, we had a wasted travel day and ended up coming to Florence early. Hopefully our luck improves. We may still go to The Italian Rivera. We are not sure. Till Later. Ciao.

Hi!
Don't understand why my last comment is not on, did you censure it? The pictures continue to be awesome and it sound like you are having a great time exploring together. I was gratified to hear that all went well with the rental car. Keep up the explorations. July 4th is on Weds, and we leave for Athens on Thursday, yikes. Love ya, DAD
