We called into Pisa yesterday and had a look at the Leaning tower. It was pouring with rain when we got there. Walked for 20 mins, got really wet! Just as we got to the tower the rain stopped.... Had a look around for 10 mins, took a few photos and then checked out the town for a while. Back to the station and on the train again. Time to dry out!

We have a lovely time in the Cinque Terre. Lavanto is a lovely little quiet village. We did 2 sections of the walk today. The other two sections are still closed from the flooding and mudslide last year. The 2nd part took 1.5 hrs, it was up and down and on a very narrow path most of the way. The views were spectacular. It was quite warm, but thankfully not too busy with people. When we finished our walk we had to have a nice cold Moretti.... Beer!

We have just come back from a lovely dinner. We had a whole Sea Bream cooked in the oven....lovely.

Off to Genoa tomorrow for one night and then to Lyon to catch up with Geoff and Mon. We are looking forward to being in our cottage for 7 nights. Xx
