Saying Goodbye to Paradise

We knew the day was coming -- time to leave our little paradise. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach in Tuscany. We have lived like the locals riding our bikes to town; enjoying the views from inside the city walls; walking the beach; eating wild boar, gelato, spaghetti and pizza; swimming in the Sea; and just soaking up the atmosphere. The fragrance of all the flowers is very sweet. It is a peaceful life here.

But it is time to move on. As much as we like it here, we have decided to leave a day earlier than planned. That way we will have a day and a half to explore Florence instead of just a half day. And that really won't be enough. But we will see what we can.

So goodbye Castiglione della Pescaia.
