We decided to take Bernie and Sharyn to our little town Pontremoli it was boxing day most things were shut. David and Bernie decided we would have a picnic (only because it would save them money). I can only describe the weather as bitter it was around -3 with the wind chill. I have never had so much fun on a picnic the kids actually ran around not to have fun but to stop themselves from freezing to death. Poor Sharyns hands had turned white and she could not get the blood to her fingers, we made a mad dash through Pontremoli to find a bar to have a coffee and warm up. But nothing was open we went to the cafe were we had luch last time and thank the lord it was open. It was so warm inside as you defrosted it actually hurt and the coffee was so good just to hold. Moral of the Story wait till the temperture is above 0 degree to have a picnic BOYS
Picnic I personally found the weather highly refreshing if a little humid. It ensured the cheese and meat stayed nice and icy. And a little bit of frost bite never did anyone any damage. Sharyn's fingers should make a full recovery.
