So amazing, last year a huge land side came through in october, since then this town has only just re built it self to have had 3 restaurants open. Post office, bank and supermarkets all yet to reopen. Tourists still come in the thousands everyday to walk between the 5 towns. It's light here until 9ish, the last day trippers leave at about then.

Our room over looks the Piazza marconi - right on the harbour.

We love the view, the noise and the bells!

I think the photos say it all

We got to use our first italian clothes line and will be putting one up on the back verandah as soon as we get home.

Yesterday we saw a beautiful wedding at the church and a huge police memorial service was held in the Piazza in the evening, a great serenade by the police band as we had dinner.

We have spent a bit of time in Montorosso, the next town around, it's only 10 minutes by ferry or 10 by train. Has a supermarket and bank which is all we've needed. Also spent a fair bit of time at the beach there. Though it's cloudy it's still really warm.

Ciao!
Italian clothesline?! Looking forward to a bit of Italy in our backyard strip! How exciting living above a Piazza! Love the view down over the umbrellas!
