I have fallen in love with this part of the world, Cinque Terre translates to 5 lands in english and is the most amazing place I have seen in the whole time I have traveled. (Cappa thanks for telling us about it). The 5 lands we vistited are: Riomaggiore, Manarola, corniglia, Vernazza and Montirosso. As you can see from the pictures the houses look as though they are carved into the mountains and when you reach a high point and look back, you are just taken back by the beauty of the place. The people are amazing and friendly and the treks in between the lands are fantastic. Our favourite was Manarola, but they were all absolutely fantastic. We trekked between Riomaggiore to Vernazza the path way was about 1 metre wide and most of the time there was no rail, just a drop down to the ocean, I loved it of course. (Dont worry gran I was very careful)

Unfortunately we had to leave and our next detination was Florence.

Florence is beautiful, we saw Michael angelos David and sat in awe of the sculpture, no photos are allowed but Dean snuck in a quick one. hehe. We spent our first day seeing all the different cathedrals and museums. Yesterday we headed to the wine region (thank goddness, I was drying up). Our first stop is Saint Gigignano, which is a beautiful village about an hour from Florence, we then headed to Siena and had a great pizza and tour of the city, our final destination was the Chanti region, which we had this fantastic wine and food tasting. The owner has experimented with everything, he made us try ice cream with balsamic vinegar (very nice actually) and lots of wine. He also made us try his olive oil, his truffle oil, his hand creams and essential oils he has made. It was a great ending to our fantastic tour of the Tuscany region.

Well I must sign off, hope everyone is well and send me some emails!!!
