Roma 16th-19th September.

After a terrible night on the car ferry, we arrived in Ostia Antica to check ou the ruined port city. It was really cooooooool to see how they used to live. The we checked in to Country Club Castle Fusano. We were not happy with our donger. In the afternoon we went to the beach and then had a great pasta dinner at the campground. The next day we got a train and a subway into Rome. It took about an hour. When we walked up the steps of the subway the Colosseum was right in front of our eyes. We went inside to check it out and the saw the Roman Forum. The rest of the day we walked around Rome and saw the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Trevi fountain (it is the most beautiful fountain I've seen). On our last day in Rome we went to the Vatican City, which is the smallest nation in the world. Jarah and I sent a postcard from there. We then went to the Spanish Steps. We had a gelato and dinner and then saw Rome at night.
