What a difference a good night's sleep can make! Linda and I rose to a warm and sunny Roman day ready for a great adventure. The hotel was nice and quiet and the morning breakfast was very nice. After much negotiation, Rich talks us in and we are off to St. Peter's tomb. No cameras allowed.

Well desered rest as walking all underneath St. Peter's Basilica. A wonderful tour. We need a gelati!

Alan and Laurie arrive and we all have dinner together. We finally have all people and all luggage with us and we are ready for another adventure tomorrow.

Memories
I remember being awed by the juxtaposition of the modern and the ancient in Rome. It is amazing to stand there next to a stop light, watching buses, cars, motorcycles and looking at the ruins of the Colosseum.
