Well, after an exhausting 16 hour rail ride through the Alps we made it to Rome. Very surprised at the stark differences between Germany and Italy. Germany had a strange cleanliness and organization to their stations that I doubt is rivaled anywhere else. While Italy on the other hand is a little more chaotic. I guess that is why north Italy doesn't like south Italy.

Anyways, once we made it to Italy, the first thing we did was take a tour around to all the sites in the walls of Rome, as the saying goes. Very beautiful city, the mix of the ancient and new building gives the city a strange twist. For the last 3 days we have been walking and climbing the sites, see pictures of the major ones

One site that I don't have pictures of is of the catacombs, amazing site and history behind them. Anyways, take a look at the pictures. Tomorrow we are off to find a beach to sit on for two days before heading to Switzerland.

The dome of the Pantheon, my Roman Engineering teacher told the class he cried once he saw this. It didn't have the same effect, but it is very cool.
