quiet couple days between trips

After the Easter weekend, we only had a couple days in Rome before starting our next trip, and even less time at Jennifer's. She returned the Monday morning after Easter, and we really wanted to give her some time alone in her own apartment after her long trip. So we grabbed a hostel, and spent the morning she arrived walking around in the rain. In fact, the entire day was spent out in gray skies, ending with a pretty good soaking on the way back to our hostel. Turns out it was all for naught, as Jennifer not only didn't expect us to move out, it seems she would've rather spent the evening chatting with Lucy about their respective trips. We really missed the boat on that one, but never mind, it's off to Florence!
