Italy Adventure

Summer 2007

This Italy adventure took place Summer 2007. I was not efficient enough to have this website set up prior to leaving so instead I am doing a "post" trip summary. Eric and I traveled all around Italy in a matter of 14 days...it was not enough time however for our first trip I am not sure we could have done any longer. We traveled by rail and by foot EVERYWHERE this way we could drink plenty of wine and eat all the pasta we wanted. Our trip itinerary was as follows (You can also look at the actual route via the map link) :

*If you click on the map above you can see our route on the map of Italy.

Phoenix to London to Rome
-Rome
-Venice
-Milan (Just the train station, just long enough to grab a bite)
-Gravedona, Lake Como
-Florence
-Naples (in our opinion, a mistake)
-Anacapri, Capri Island (we are not Gucci clad enough to stay in Capri Town)
-Naples (Just long enough the get on the train)
-Rome (Which became our home base)
Rome to London to Phoenix (Home sweet Home) Exhausted, dirty and ready to sleep in a Queen size bed!

Some tips for navigating the entries:
- You can click on any of the pictures within the entries to see a larger view.
- The timeline goes from bottom to top (its backwards, I know, I have no idea why) so as you read through the entries start from the bottom entry (this one your reading) and go up.
- Some of the entries have maps so you can see exactly where the specific place you are reading about is on the map of Italy. Just click on the map to view it, then, use the arrows on the top left corner to zoom in and out.
