Im so lucky!!

ok, so i decided to go ahead and let the world, aka my close family and friends , in on what my roman life is like, its been great so far, excuse the horrible writing, im much to lazy to be formal, well, the apartment is great, its in a beautiful area with an awesome night life, we had a slight flood the first night from the airconditioner, but otherwise, its been great, there are gelaterias everywhere, seriously there is one every ten feet, mmmmm gelato, we always go to this one place that loads you up on up to three different flavors for only 1.50 euro, its amazing, thank god we do plenty of walking, ive seen sooo much in less than a week, dad you would love the fountains here, they are absolutely gorgeous, its been difficult at times with the whole language barrier, but we manage, our italian is getting a little better, classes are going to be interesting and involved, i hope to do plenty of traveling as well, they are offering tons of optional trips around italy but it will be costly, i really want to make it to the swiss alps , i cant wait to ride a train, man, theres so much to tell , the financial office is ofcourse giving me hell right now by taking half of my chancellor scholarship away, quinn is trying to help me fix that little problem, well, thats enough for today, ill try to keep up with this journal, ciao!!

well, here i am in dallas after a little trouble which included laura and i running around the city they call an airport reclaiming her luggage that was not going to make it to rome thanks to the wonderful help from the american airlines lady in little rock.

this is our new place, its great, i really like it, it has a strange smell, but that comes with the city, atleast it stays pretty cool, the kitchen is pretty much a cave

yeah, this is so funny, they put these stickers on every single cigarette package, but it doesnt stop the italians, or smokey

we live in such an awesome location, people walk up and down and always peer into our place b/c you can see the whole apartment when we open the front windows/door, thats how we have met many people

we live right behind this beautiful church, this little center infront of the church is so lively at night, i love to just walk around, ofcourse i didnt know laura was taking this pic,as is in most cases

watch your step
seriously, or you will be run over, they pay absolutely no attention to pedestrians, they are so crazy, its an adventure just to cross the street
