The ColosseumThe ColosseumThe Colosseum

The building is enormous and its history before my eyes. =)
The tour took us to 6 places. The tour was about 3 hours. We visited Colosseum, Capitoline Hill, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. The colosseum was the main place I was interested in. It was enormous. The place looked like it was damaged over the ages and nature destroying it slowly. The Colosseum was designed to hold 50,000 spectators. There are 80 different entrances and exits. In which, the spectators can exit and arrive easily and quickly. All according to the tour leader. The building is 12-15 stories high. On the stage, it was known that beasts and all sorts of random things were on there to entertain. It kinda amazed me that it was still there and it was steady for so long after it was built. Like I sat where the crowd would sit to watch. The Colosseum is cool.
