After our two day trip to Venice, we slept in this morning and then went to Evy's Zia Mine for lunch. Zia Mine is getting quite elderly but seems spry and full of life. We had a great lunch which she cooked on her wood stove.

After lunch Joshua wanted to go outside to go bike riding. Benjamin said he was going to go along to “supervise” but a few minutes later, it was Joshua who knocked on the door to come help Benjamin who had taken a spill. When we got the scraped and bruised (but otherwise fine) Benjamin back to the house, Zia Mine jumped into action with antibacterial power and gauze bandages. The triage was complete in short order, though Benjamin looked as though he had been through some sort of a war.
