so iheartilyapologize to allwho have actuall been checkng up on usto see if theres a new blog...basically it was a combination ofus havingno free money tospent on booking a comp, the lack of internet access in various hostels,and us frankly not being bothered.....
but now we'r in brindisi taking a well deserved rest, mainly because therestotally nowt to do here! i thnk our last blog was venice..? well since then we've been in the hottest 15th century florentine monastery ive ever been in, a roman hotel....yeahi know, weve managed to get into or THIRD unintended hotel of the trip. but it wasnt really our fault!! we were sposed to ring ahead...anyway we stayed in a b and b cos our previoushstel woldnt letus stay in the same room.. and then sorrento was full of friendly australian men cos they put us in the boys dorm by mistake. or was it...?!?! and wehad to walk up themost cruelcobbled street/lane/thng ever to get to it, so prbably just as well we didnt make it up vesuvius or else we may not have had the energy to return to the hostel tht night and therefore not madeit home at all...ok so thatwas boring to type. BUT now we're in the midst of rather large thunderstorms and bucketting rain, so again its just as well brindisi has absolutely no sights to speak of becuase w've bee staying in and sleeping all day! its the ferry crossin tomoro nght,then off to greece and ultimately almost hometime.. speak t youall soon! maybe from athens, our next port of call after patras....trigs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hey guys! im finally back to civilisation and have just read ALL of your travel blogs in a row as its the first time ive been able to use the internet since before i left for romania! it sounds like your having a wkd time, and i cannot wait to chat to you all and see pics.. Flo, all that talk of the Florentine sites brought memories of HofA and i felt all knowledgable when you mentioned them cos i had at least a vague recollection!! anyhow, hope your enjoying yourselves.. greece will be sooo good!
