We had a little later breakfast at 9am at the Ballymaloe House and then made our way to Midleton for the market, where we interviewed a couple vendors, including Darina Allen from Ballymaloe Cookery School. We headed back to Cork to the English Market, where we had eaten at Farmgate Cafe earlier in our stay, and we did a few interviews with butchers. Kinsale, a little town down the coast, was our next stop. It wasn't too far, and once we finally found parking we ate at a little fish and chips joint on the water. Our waitress was Slovakian. We've had a lot of waiters and waitresses from Eastern Europe while in the UK. We wandered around Kinsale for a while, doing a little souvenir shopping, but also getting some shots of the town. I found a pub called The Grey Hound, but there seem to be more Scottish terriers, labs, and cocker spaniels than greyhounds, Irish setters, or Irish wolfhounds. After seeing Kinsale, we decided to go for a little drive in the country, which we could easily do without getting lost thanks to our little Garmin GPS unit. Without it we would have never gotten home before dark. After doing a big loop through the very lovely and green Cork County countryside, we ended up back in Kinsale for dinner at a little bistro where I had some really tasty lasagna. It was about 8:30pm when we left Kinsale, and the GPS got us back to the Ballymaloe House just before it got completely dark, around 9:30pm.

Sooo what kind of dog am I getting?
Did you find a nice little puppy for me? I'm sure there were baskets of them all over the place. Just let me know when to meet it at the airport.
