Kilkenny Castle
After our big St Patrick’s night last night (lol) we slept in and when we got up we found a note on our door telling us that the Trad Irish night that was to be on tonight had been cancelled due to lack of numbers this is bad news as we were going to continue our St Patrick’s celebrations there and did not have other stuff for dinner. It was now raining after a fantastic day yesterday so we waited for it to stop raining and headed in to Kilkenny we went to the castle and had a look around then went and got the book “the whereabouts of Aennes Mcnulty’ by Sebstian Barry a related book to the last one we read. We also got dinner for tonight. On the way in everyone look to be driving a bit funny my guess is that were all still hung over and there were a few crashed cars on the road and lots of smashed bottles. Kilkenny was all cleaned up when we got there but people seem to be walking very slow today but there were still a few people in their St Patrick’s outfits.
