Well, as the Irish say "What better way ta start da trip but at a Whisky Distillery. The alcohol flowed. The first stop was Kilbeggan. "Kil" Mens church in Gaelic. So "Church of Beggan" I am Beggin for some whisky!!!" Lol. The wife was kind enough to let me sample the local brew.. So did she... Great when ya don't hafta drive. Apparently there are more than 3000 ruined castles in Ireland. I dinna mind ta tell ya. (Thas the (hic) alcohal talkin) truth!. I tried ta drive the car as ya can see, but I dinna have gas.
Well, was up wit dat!. So we continued on our tour and hit an old castle called Clonmacnoise. This place was church ruins and graveyards. We saw some recent deadies from 1934, but most were illedgable.
We ended the day in Galway and toured the local strip. The pics will follow on the next blog at the beginning then we will talk.
