Hi, everyone,
Here are some photos of a recent excursion to Tralee, home of The Rose of Tralee. A city of narrow one way streets, a great museum with its medieval section and beautiful Botanical gardens. Outside of Tralee is Ardfert a small town with an ancient Cathedral, some parts dating back to 12th century. We also checked out the ruins of the Friary and a medieval conical tower, one of only a few that are left intact in the country.
The Beehive Huts where the horses and foals were also date back to 4000 years. It was amazing seeing the horses and their foals. They were not troubled about us at all. It was like a paradise watching them frolic and nuzzle each other at such close quarters. As you can see the girls love posing for photos.
