The luck of the Irish!

Hi everyone!

Well Ireland was fantastic. We had a ball going out and touring around. Our hosts Maria and Malcolm made us feel very welcome and we cant wait to go back sometime.

We had a tour of the city on our first day and then had a kip in Trinity College - we're not used to having sunshine anymore! Then we headed to a small Irish pub where we had a sing-a-long and a jig. Oh and of course some drinks!

We toured the Guinness and Jameson distilleries and got a free drink at the end. The Jamesons tour was the best and Maria works there so that was even more exciting. Wayne tried to camp there but we dragged him back to the pub for more Whiskey instead.

On Sunday Maria and Malcolm took us on a drive to the countryside. It was so beautiful even though it was raining and windy. We ended the day with a pub meal and an early night. All that walking was hard work!

Hi guys Great to hear from you. Sounds like you are having a fantatsic time. Wayno have a Guiness or six for me. I'll save you a Jack Daniels for when you get back and tell me all abou it. Cherie, it likes like you're partying hard in some of these pics which is good because when you come back to your Year 6/7s next year you'll be able to think back and remenber the good times you had. Tonight is our Quiz Night that the mighty FISH committee have organised. Should be a great success. Dockers are playing in the Qualifying Final against Adelaide on Saturday. We should flog them by nearly as much as we flodgged the Eagles by. Take care and keep writing!!!
