This is a test run on the blog in preparation for our golf trip to Ireland which starts next Wednesday with a flight to Brisbane.This is what you can do when you are retired or on the way there. I have a school reunion 18 August - haven't bothered to work out how many years ago I was at the little primary school in Wallumbilla. Don't know how I will recognise the class mates without name tags. It will be interesting to say the least.

Then we fly from Brisbane next Monday to Sydney, Hong Kong, London and Dublin for our trip around Ireland. We head north from Dublin to Newcastle for the first 2 days. We will be playing Royal County Down Friday 24 August so no time to rest before we start playing. Royal County Down is the highest ranked course in Ireland and in the top 5 in the world. Can't wait!!

Anyway this a test to get this blog up and running. More will come once we are in Ireland and can find somewhere to login.
