everyones favourite ice cream why not try a 99 they're delicious... SUSS hello everyone!
i've decided to keep emailing to those who i dont think have myspace coz it's just easier and anyone else with myspace can read my blogs!
anyway i finally met up with siobhan again the other day!!! i was actually given the wrong time for her flight so i was just sitting at the airport waiting and all of a sudden this girl in a bright yellow coat stood in front of my and just casually said hi, i looked up and realised it was siobhan... haha.. it's good to see her again and we're just like we were back in oz all those months ago before she left for india... it's good 😊
we've spent the last few days just wondering dublin, we picked up a whole bunch of stuff from the info centre to okan our next 10 days before we head off to london... we've managed to find a whole bunch of stuff to do.. it's great! we're even thinking of going up to belfast for a day because it's only a 3 hour bus ride away.... that's closer than ballarat is to my house!!!! crazy!
we're staying with her aunt and
nirvana
finding nirvana in the dublin botanic gardens uncle, kay and frank, and they are the nicest people ever! they've been so hospitible to me and they've even given me my own room with a wardrobe and chest of drawers.. i feel like a king!! 😊
last night we went out to the local pub, which frank tells us is famous because it's where the prime minister goes to drink... and last night i had my first taste of guiness... now im not a big fan of beer but i thought i have to tryit coz im in dublin and i actually liked it... guiness is so different to any other beer ive tasted... it's not cheap crappy booze (ew, goon!) it's good! granted i had it with vegetarian fajitas... not so irish.. but still it was a good night!
we've started planning the rest of our trip but we're both still pretty tired from jet lag so we're not doing a whole lot at the moment! but it'll come to fruition eventually..
we also went to check out the bloomsday festival today... most stuff cost things so we didnt go to a lot of them, but there wa s free public reading at the
me and socrates
philosophising with the best of minds joyce centre... we went there but after about 20 minutes we were over it so we wondered the city then went and had a coffee at the ammnesty international cafe... fun times!.. later today frank is also going to give us a driving tour of the city... i lok forward to it although i've managed to get my bearings pretty good in this city considering i've only been here a few days.. it's good... and that's clearly something i didnt get from mum :P
one thing i've also noticed is that there seem to be many stores named after my friends... we've found jojo's clothing boutique, evan's store for plus sized women, supersam's polish supermarket, and esters military store... seee everyone is still here with me.. just in store form!
anyway.. that's all the news i've got.. much love and speak soon
