Today was a trip to Blarney Castle. Lost of stairs to climb up and down. For Amie there were also waves of vertigo frm the top. It was very high up and quite windy. But we still don't understand how the royal women could go up the spiral staircase and through the tiny doors in their large puffy skirts. It was my turn to kiss the Blarney Stone. I had no idea that you had to pretty much dangle through this opening in the wall, upside down, bent backwards, and rely on the old Irishman to haul you back up. A piece of advice to all, at least make a kissing noise if you don't want to make contact with the librally salivated stone. The grounds of the castle were a great place for picnicing and also fun for just roaming around. I climbed some trees, explored places with names such as 'the witches kitchen' and the 'wishing stairs'. With all of the childness in us we also got into the spirit of flicking ants off their beloved boulder.

May the gift of gab enter your life. YAY!!! Amie after three kisses of the stone I wonder what effect it will have. You must be talking a mile a minute :) Just kidding buddy, we all know that the stone is really just a way to pass disease around and that no one really makes contact with it. I wonder what kissing the air in front of the stone gives you? Cheers, Cathy
