A random ruin
I have no idea what this one was called, but it wasn't at all uncommon to see them.

The Cliffs of Moher
The cliffs are home to over 30,000 birds and Puffin Penguins although they stay in the more remote areas of the cliffs.

A Thatched roof
this is the old traditional roofs still being used on one of the farms

Irish farmhouse
This was one of the newer farmhouses, but as you can see, very modest and simple in design.

A view of the Burren terrain
and another castle ruin. The hills in the back are limestone and typical of the Burren region.

I forget!
For the life of me, I can't remember the name of this ruin and I can't locate our tour brochure at the moment, so i'll have to add this later! lol

Carron Church
This church was built in the 1200's and served the largest parishes of Clare County. It's owned by a farmer (and you'll see his cows! lol), but it is still made available to the public to visit.

Carren Church Graves
Some of the grave monuments were really neat with the celtic crosses

Carren Cows
They were quite inquisitive and didn't mind their pictures being taken. :)
