Husavik Thermal Baths

Arctic Ocean

We stuck our toes in the Arctic Ocean so that we could claim that we had been in every ocean. But today Nat Geo added a fifth ocean around Antarctica. Drat!

Namaskard Pass

Boiling mud and steaming fumaroles. One misstep and you're part of the geological record.

We correctly deduced that there would be thermal baths near Myvatn.

We shared this old farmhouse with a pair of artists from Europe.

Even though I paid extra for 4-wheel drive, I decided not to try this.

Adele

Adele is the most intrepid traveler I know.

A lagoon full of icebergs blocks access to the Vatna mega-glacier.
