First day of classes today. The courses are really strange here - they meet for much longer times. We had our electrical engineering class today and it was 3 hours long! The professors give 15 minute breaks every hour though, so it's not that bad. Our schedule is pretty good, but we're working on convincing professors to move classes so we get a 3 (or even 4) day weekend. Our EE professor already said he would be fine with moving Monday's class, so that way we would have Mondays off. We also have his lab on Fridays, and we can move that as well. However, we also have a fluids lab on Friday, so depending on whether or not that can be moved, we may get Fridays too! The days we do have class will be long though....However, our Tuesday schedule is one 4-hour class, but it looks like it only meets for the first 2 weeks. If that's the case, we could move the other classes during that block after the two weeks, and the total classtime during the week actually wouldn't be that bad. Definitely better with this than at UNH - no way would professors be moving classes for us!!
