Budapest is a city that lights up at night, although only artificially. All the major tourist attractions, and some not so touristy attractions, are bathed in the blinding glow of thousands of watts of scarce electricity. The lights go on at sundown and then shut down at 1am when the power is returned to the people and the drunk are left to stumble home blind. Wasteful as it may be, it looks beautiful and makes for some nice kodak moments. Unfortunately, CVS lost some epic photos of a lunar eclipse. Damn chain pharmacies!!!
