This was our last day in Budapest so we decided to take it a little easier and just see what evolved. We started with a walk to the Dohány Street Synagogue and had a peek in and a good look on the outside. It holds 6000 worshippers and is the largest synagogue in Europe. Europe's largest thermal bath complex. Open in some form since 1881. It has had many additions, the last being heating in the change rooms in 1963.

It takes all shapes and sizes to fill this pool. It's warmer and is similar to a hot bath. Imagine it in winter, surrounded by snow!

This was donated to Budapest on the 20th anniversary of it coming down.

Closed for years, this old ballroom reopened as a cafe in 2009. We were in the bookshop downstairs and just spotted it; lucky.
