Our hostel just sucked 3 days out of this trip. Which isn´t that bad considering we really needed the break and we can use the best western card some other time. Yesterday and today though we actually got out and saw some stuff. We went and saw the parliament building and explored the castle district yesterday. We also checked out St Istavan (Stephen)ś basillica which had a nice panorama of Budapests skyline. You can definately tell this is the farthest east we have been, there are very contrasting spires of of the various churches and castles.

Today we checked out The House of Terror, which sounds funny, but it is actually a museum about the take over of the Hungarian governement by Nazis and Soviets. They play creepy techno and then give you these like dissertations on various aspects of the history. It is a lot to take in but really interesting and good to have experienced.
Got to go catch the train to Vienna.
