so, after two nights in prague its off the european capital of all things grey, Bratislava. but first a story. i am very tired today, mainly for one reason. its not beer either you clever so and so. we had an ungodly early bus to bratislava, meaning we had to leave the hostel at 6.45 am. for those who know me they wqill know how much i love to get up in a morning. for those that dont trust me on this, solving third world debt is easier than waking me up. so i take pity on poor old travalpal joel and stay up wandering around prague all night despite being tired as it was. this worked fine until about 6.30 am when, having lost all track of time i realise i have 15 mins to get my bag and head 1.5km to the bus station to be on time. oh oh. i make it just, face the colour of moldy beetroot and sweating like...well, fill in the blanks yourslef. i also manage during my time in prague to use THE JOKE to offend yet more people, by now taking the total into double figures. you want to know it now dont you? well, ye shall have to wait.

hmm, what more? oh yes Bratislava is shit, dont bother. unless of course you are strange and have a deep fondness for piles of rubble and ex-soviet architecture. which of course even the soviets didnt like so i doubt very much you do. the goulash was good though and the beer was 12% and cheap so despite feeling like a tramp on special brew it did look prettier by night. mostly because you couldnt see the rubble. we met some unfortunate irish guys who were staying five nights here. (unfortunate for the length of their stay of course, not for being irish.) i would prefer five nights wrapped in cling film and wedged in satans arsecrack but thats just me. anyways, early night, depression from the special brew and Budapest tommorrow.
