Today I slept in until 10, but didn’t actually get out of bed until about 1130 😊
I thought that since I got here I wanted to go to Buda hill and today was the last day I could do it, so I jumped on the train and made my way there.
I had to get off at Moskva Ter, one to catch the tram and two I had to change some money as I had no money left 😞 . It took me around 45 minutes to find a money changing place as the one I knew of was closed! Anyway I changed the money then jumped on the tram and then a bus.
Once I arrived at the base of the hill I caught the chair lift up, I didn’t look behind me on the way up as I didn’t want to ruin the surprise of the view.
After I got off the chair lift I then had to walk up this hill, initially it looked easy but after 5 minutes of a constant 45* hill my claves were burning. I made it to the top and then went to check out the look-out, I thought I had to
pay when I got up there but I didn’t so that was a bonus.
I climbed to the very top of the look-out and as I thought when I looked it was amazing, a 360* view from the tower over Hungary, you could see the whole of Budapest. It was super windy being up so high, I just looked over the land for around 45 minutes or so and then thought it was time to make my way to the dirt tracks.
Instead of going back down the hill on the path I was going to make my way back down to the chair lift through some little walking tracks. It was really good being engulfed by the green all around, I made a pit stop and ate some food.
On the way back down the lift the view was pretty good as well, now going down and looking at the city.
I arrived “home” and let myself in as Lauren was trusting enough to give me a set of keys 😊 . Lauren and Lyla made me dinner again, tonight was soup and also scrambled eggs on toast, food is always good!
At about 11 we went out again,

From a little trail i walked through. this time to 2 more destruction bars and also a beer garden bar. The bars and pubs here that I have seen are absolutely huge and could probably hold like a thousand people. Drinks arte reasonably cheap I guess, a beer is around 500HUF ($3.50AUD). We were meant to be going and meeting one of their friends that was flying back in, but it never happened so we stayed out till about 2 and got home around 3. This time it didn’t rain and we used the night bus, it was packed like sardines in a can it was crazy.
Ta ta for now :D
