Absinth!Absinth!Absinth!

My new friend..
After much long typing, I am happy to finally caught up with myself. After a short(ish) train journey, me, Ollie, Carl and Alex (Darvill, not Calkin) arrived in Budapest. A quick taxi ride later, we arrived in easily the best hostel we have been in so far. The place is, and I mean this, a Backpacker's Paradise. Which is convient, considering thats the name of the hostel itself.

Incredibly relaxed, incredibly calm, with a DVD collection unrivaled anywhere else in Christendom, and filled to the brim with lovely people (and, of course, a few duds), we have difficulty leaving everyday. Its also quite far from the action, which makes it even harder. However, we have preserved, and gone out a few times for some amazing nights out, and also seen quite a lot of Budapest, including quite a lot of the stuff I missed while I here last time.

We've been wake boarding as well, which was a hilariously hung-over afternoon of being thrown repeatedly in cold water, while glaring jealously at Ollie skimming the waves the other side of the lake. We've been to the baths, which was awesome, and we're going too a much nicer set of baths tomorrow, which will be awesome-er, if there is such a thing.

It has its bad side - a frankly outrageous tube fine, for going down an escalator to ask an inspector whether our tickets were still valid, and a few 'Well, we're gonna have to stay out drinking till the trams start again' moments, which we could do with out. (snigger).

Anyway, I don't wanna write everything we've done, because I can't upload the photos till tomorrow of that stuff, so that'll do for today. Peace out!
