Lot of Culture at the Weekend

soapbox running As this weekend the famous "Budapest Spring Festival" ended, we took the change to see some culture programs.
But first there was a big international Erasmus Party, organized by the esn (European Student Network) because of their 20th birthday. It was very cheap: Entrance and every drink 1€. And this was a good change to get rid of the 1€-coins you cannot use here. So a lot of people or almost every one (@mum: not me!!!!!) was very drunken and slept the whole day.
But those who were a little bit fitter, gathered to go to the zoo at this nice sunny day.
In the evening we visited the Budapest Fringe Festival: There were some concerts like Jazz and so on, fire-shows, pop concerts, theaters, . . . A lot of people were here. Unfortunately I was so tired that I dozed off a bit in the theater - also as it was in hungarian and I did't understand anything. So after a short visit at a finish flat with one beer I went home quite early at 1 o'clock.
On Sunday I wanted so see the Hungarian Dance Festival that was also at this weekend. But I was a

little bit disappointed. The were less performances. But you could learn a little bit dancing here: The teacher was in the middle, the people all around him, teaching which step or move to do and alway saying the rythm in "TI TA TITTI TA" - those from the language course know that already :-) So we also took the possiblity try a little bit.
For the night we heard of a party on a bridge: It was like a soapbox running or such king of the Red Bull Flight show. They had builted self-made vehicles for the tramroad and made there a speed-contest. Quite funny. But I was fairly freezing because we were still in the summer jackets and over the Danube in the night it was quite cold.
