Mouzaki is out skirted at the edges of Itamos and crossed by the current stream of Pamissos. Historically, this is the location of the ancient city of Gomfoi, having its very own currency in 340 B.C. Mouzaki is full of unique mountain beauty, built at a crossroads point. It is very close to the city of Karditsa as well as to the city of Trikala, the town of Pertouli, the Lake of Plastira and last but not least… the Meteora. The area is one of the most interesting and visited tourist destinations so Mouzaki becomes the perfect base to explore it all!
