Saint George of Lihadas, northern Evia island

Greece

You’ll find it at the peninsula of Lihadas, located on northern Evia, close to Aidipsos. According to mythology, this is the place where Hercules threw off the cliff his follower Liha, more specifically… at the point where the visitor can stare nowadays at the Lihas islands down the sea. Saint George has increased its tourist traffic lately and for a very good reason. The pine forest and the endless blue of the sea create a combination hard to resist!
