Good to see you back online... but sorry you lost some of your blog entries... the pictures of the fires were SCARY... must have been horrible watching the fires creeping closer to you. No words to describe such a thing. I'm glad you stayed safe. Cuzn B

Whew!
I'm so glad to know the fires are behind you..it was very upsetting to know there was trouble that was beyond our control. They ARE behind you, right? Looks like you don't have to consort with too many dummies on a dig (archaeologists, geologists, physicists, etc.) I guess that's a large part of the attraction. It surely can't be the heat or the dirt or the fashions. Keep up the good reporting, but save copies of everything. The blog site is obviously not too reliable. Love you more.
