What is the dominant religion in Greece, and how does it differ from Christianity?

The main religion in Greece in Greek Orthodox. They have their Greek Orthodox churches everywhere. They celebrate a huge holiday called Easter. They go to their church and attend mass or go to huge bonfires by their church. They have a superstition where if you can get home with a lit candle, your home will be blessed. Most Greeks also still do the fasting; a week before and right after mass.

The biggest religion in Greece right now is Greek Orthodox. These Greek Orthodox churches are everywhere in Greece. They celebrate similar holidays; however, they celebrate them differently. For example, they celebrate a very important holiday like Easter differently than how Christians do. They attend huge bonfires by their church and light a candle then proceed to walk how without letting their candle blow out. Christians usually just celebrate with a big feast followed by an Easter egg hunt.
