After a six month deployment to Kosovo, I was ready to take a well deserved vacation. So In June of 2001, my family and I headed for Greece. I always wanted to visit Athens, specifically the Parthenon. I think this monumental ruins of ancient Greece is a must for travelers. It should be in one of the top ten must visit in your list. Together with the Pyramids of Giza, Macchu Picchu and the Great Wall of China.
