Too Many Ruins
One too many hours spent touring around ancient Grecian piles of rocks Alright, so it's the middle of June, and we're finally posting our pictures from last seven weeks of the trip.
We've been telling ourselves to get on it and finally finish the blog for a long time now....we've just been really, really lazy.
So here's a whole whack of blog entries coming your way, without much more than Andrew's witty captions...
Thank you for being patient!
Jen and Andrew
Greece - At long last we arrived in Athens after travelling for a couple of weeks from Oslo with this destination in the forefront of our minds the whole time. We were here to spend a day and a half doing the required exposure to ancient stuff before heading off to the islands for a break. We really needed a break at this point.
Athens was lots of fun, except for the bed bugs that Jen discovered on the second night. She wasn't a very happy camper, especially because this sort of thing was always ruining our planned 'vacations from travelling'. It didnt' muck up things too badly, but definitely took the festivities down a notch.
Good memories of our classic thirty
At the Parthenon
Had to take the obligatory 'we were there' shot something Greek Gino hotel guy, complete with long curly hair and his shirt undone to his navel...
....and the food was awesome
