Today we walked from our hostel to the ancient agora, the site of the ancient Athens. It was 38 degrees. The agora sits at the foot of the acropolis and has many ruins in it. We didn't see nearly enough of it so we will go back later. We climbed the acropolis and saw the parthanon which is amazing, but unfortunately covered in scaffolding. There are many other ancient buildings on the acropolis but many of them have restoration type machinery around them. It was still all very cool, and hot. Eventually we walked back down through the ancient agora and back towards our hostel. We stopped for more souvlaki for me, and a chicken pita for Hannah.

It was a hot hot day that ended in a very appreciated airconditioned hostel.
